Three great games were on display at our Club today…we had a game of 30k, using the new Horus Heresy rules. Feedback was really good with these rules seemingly a big improvement on the gameplay in 40k. The second game was an Alpha Strike Battletech game featuring a clash between two clans on an artic tundra world. Our third game was a large Vietnam game using Flames of War rules...this saw two US infantry platoons airlifted into the jungle to conduct a search of a village and a sweep of the nearby area. The US came under increasing pressure and although dished out alot of casualties to the VC/NVA, they did lose enough to force them to withdraw. Another fun day at the Club with some great games.
