A fantastic Club session today... We had a massive variety of games with some amazing well painted figures on display (I can say that as none of my figures were there today!).

We had a brilliant WW2 desert dogfight courtesy of Ian... Lovely aircraft. Ian, David, Michael, and I flew as Italians and Simon and Joe flew as New Zealanders. We were all pretty rubbish at shooting each other although Ian did manage to get shot down in the bomber. A great game trying out Watch your Six rules.

There was a 40k battle between George's blue Tyrannids and Jacques petrifying bad guys... Although to be fair both sides are classified as "baddies" under 40k rules. A great game with some beautiful miniatures... Unfortunately, George's blue Nids once again exterminated!

We also had a WW2 Bolt Action battle between Will's Germans and Martin's Americans… Will pushed his troops and Tiger in close and paid the price… The Tiger was a bit too close to the dug in American's and it was taken out! A good game showing how important cover is!

There was another great WW2 Bolt Action between Bob (with his nice-looking Germans) and Mark with his ever-dependable American army… This game had a lot of movement and I saw the moment Bob's Panzer III got hole punched by Mark's trusty Sherman. Another great game.

Ray put on a Napoleonic game using Black Powder rules with Austrians and Franco-German armies fighting it out across Europe (as they always do!). Another great looking game played between Ray, Adam, Jean, and Nigel.

The last of our games today was between Russell and Steve who fought out a BattleTech game using those massive robot type behemoths… Lots of scrap metal was left littering the countryside after these two dished it out! Another great game with some genuinely nice miniatures.
